ONE-TO-ONE QA MENTORSHIP

QA mentorship.
Your next step.
With a clear plan
and support.

I can help you learn QA fundamentals, move into Python test automation, or grow in your current role. We’ll take your goal and turn it into practical steps.

Practice at your level. Feedback that actually helps.

01 / WHAT TO COME IN WITH

From “Where do I go next?”
to “Now I get it.”

You don’t need to know everything in advance.
A problem you want to work through is enough.

01STARTING IN QA

You’re starting from scratch.
You need a path.

We’ll cover what a tester does and which skills matter at the start. We’ll build a learning plan and reinforce the basics through practice.

  • Test design, checklists, and bug reports
  • Web, HTTP, and API fundamentals
  • Feedback on practice assignments
Map the first step
02MOVING INTO AUTOMATION

You know manual QA.
You want to write tests.

We’ll work through Python, HTTP, APIs, and pytest, reinforcing each topic with small, working tests.

  • Identify gaps and priorities
  • Review code and common mistakes
  • Move from isolated tests to a project structure
Discuss the move
03WORKING WITH CODE

You already have automated tests.
You still have questions.

We’ll look at your approach: fixtures, test data, readability, test isolation, and why tests flake.

  • Review with an explanation of the decisions
  • Refactoring practice
  • An improvement plan that doesn’t mean rewriting everything at once
Bring code for review
04THE NEXT LEVEL

The tests run.
Time to fit them into the process.

We’ll connect automated tests to the team’s day-to-day: Git, CI/CD, reports, Docker, and parallel runs.

  • A clear study or work example
  • Why it works, not just which commands to run
  • Practical steps you can take on your own
Make sense of the process
05PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

Time to move forward.
But where do you start?

We’ll look at your experience, the role you want, and your current skills. I’ll help you make a plan and prepare for technical conversations.

  • CV review and how you describe your experience
  • Practice answering QA questions
  • Learning priorities for your goal
Discuss growth
06AI IN DAY-TO-DAY WORK

You’re trying AI.
You want to see the value.

We’ll apply AI to QA work: draft scenarios, explain code, and analyze failures. We’ll check the output and notice the limits.

  • Framing the task and preparing context
  • Checking suggested tests and answers
  • A practical experiment using sample data
Discuss AI practice

02 / WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE

Don’t just get an answer.
Understand the solution.

You try things, ask questions, and explain your thinking. I help you find the gaps, see options, and reinforce what you learn through practice.

We’ll agree on pace, assignments, and feedback to match your goal and the time you have for independent work.

EXAMPLE REVIEW: A FAILING API TEST

  1. Reproduce the problem.
Look at the request, the response, and the run conditions.
  2. Find the cause.
Separate a product bug from a test issue.
  3. Discuss the fix.
You make the change and check the hypothesis.
  4. Reinforce the approach.
Capture the takeaways and the next practice step.

03 / FORMATS

One problem.
Or steady growth.

We’ll agree on price and scope before we start.
We’ll pick a format that fits your goal.

Comments on the code, an explanation of each note, and improvement priorities.

Discuss a review
03 / ONGOING SUPPORT

Mentorship
with a plan

When you need a clear sequence, regular practice, and feedback as you go.

RESULT

An individual plan, review of completed work, and adjusted next steps.

Discuss mentorship
04 / FOR A TEAM

A practical
workshop

05 / FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before we meet.

Can I come without knowing Python?

Yes. If you already have a manual testing foundation, we’ll start with Python basics and move toward automated tests. If you’re just getting into QA, we’ll first discuss your current level and a suitable path.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the format and scope: a consultation, a review, or ongoing support. After we meet, we’ll agree on the price and the work before sessions start.

How often will we meet?

We’ll agree on frequency and length based on your goal, schedule, and time for practice. For a one-off problem, we can start with a single consultation.

Can we work through tasks from my job?

Yes, if you have the right to share the materials. Anonymized examples without keys, personal data, or confidential company information work well.

Will you help me prepare for interviews?

We can review your experience and CV, practice technical questions, and identify topics to study. Whether you get the job depends on your skills, the role requirements, and the employer’s decision.

Will there be homework between sessions?

In ongoing mentorship — if we agree on it. We’ll pick practice you can actually finish and review the result. We’ll agree on timing and the feedback channel in advance.

06 / YOUR STARTING POINT

Where are you now —
and where do you want
to go?

Tell me about your experience, your goal, and what’s getting in the way. I’ll ask a few questions and suggest a format that fits.
